How to Calculate Numbers of Paver Block Required

The number of Paver blocks totally depends on the area of field and area of paver block shape that is going to be used.
For finding out the number of paving blocks required, we need to find out the area of field and area of paver block.

For example, Size of field = 20’ x 30’ = 600 ft²
We are using Square shaped paver block
Having surface area = 0.27’ (83 mm) x 0.27’ (83 mm) = 0.074 ft² or 6889 mm²
Nos. of Blocks = Area of field / Area of Paver Block
= 600 ft² / 0.07415 ft²
= 8108 Nos.
It is generally specified by manufacturers like for 100 sq. ft area square block 83 mm x 83 mm size block required around 1400.
For 100 sq.ft = 1400 (Including Wastage)
So, For 600 sq. ft. = 1400 x 6 = 8400
